1955 Steinway S Restoration
This 1955 Steinway S is the latest piano out of The Gilded Piano Shop! It came in with extensive smoke damage resulting from a fire. This piano took us over 250 hours to clean and rebuild the action and it’s now like a new piano inside. It has all new hammers, dampers, felts, strings, keytops, the works! Special thanks to Bryce McKay for the amazing job on the action. The cabinet is made of sapele mahogany and the refinishing turned out stunning. We are so happy with how it sounds and even happier to see this family heirloom back home where it can be enjoyed by future generations.
