If you look at the pedals on your upright piano you may notice a piece of wood, a case part (sometimes called the knee board or kick board) covering the bottom of the piano.  Inside is where all the pedal adjustments are. It also happens to be where most of the cobwebs are found!

Don’t worry, there’s not a whole lot you can do to prevent that from happening.  Cleaning is part of what we do when servicing your piano.
