Can you guess what part of the piano this is (without scrolling down to the pictures below!)?

Crazy enough, it’s the inside of the top lid of a 1919 Marshall & Wendell Upright Player piano!

I just think that old crackling finish is so cool looking!  It certainly wasn’t originally created that way, but time takes its toll….on skin as well as piano finishes!
