I have a Taylor Bros Piano just like yours. We did some research trying to find out what company manufactured the piano for Taylor Bros but hit a dead end. Do you know? I couldn’t find anyone who had even seen a Taylor Bros Piano. I had the inside totally rebuilt but we haven’t tackled the outside yet. My grandparents bought the piano for my mother probably in their store in Eureka, since they lived in Mammoth. I love the simplistic design and sound of this piano. You did an amazing job on this piano!
So neat that you have a Taylor Bros too! Thank you for the feedback. Back in the 1920’s Taylor Bro Co was located in Provo and sold pianos from that location. My guess (based on what is cast into the plate) that it was built in a piano factory in Chicago for the furniture company/department store called Taylor Bros in Provo on Center St.
